Most Visionary Careers Programme Award.

Yesterday our Careers Team, Michelle Agate and Tracy Keith, were awarded the "Most Visionary Career Programme" for Doncaster by the South Yorkshire Careers Hub.

Careers at the UTC underpin every aspect of the college and we pride ourselves on ensuring that young people leave with not only high qualifications but also with the skills and attitudes to be successful in the world of work. Our careers team work tirelessly with local and national employers to secure opportunities for students to engage in live projects; making learning engaging, motivational and routed in real life context. Students are encouraged to aim high and are well supported by both the college and employer partners to make informed choices about their future destinations.

Ofsted 22: - "In addition to first-class careers advice and guidance, pupils have extensive opportunities to interact with local employers. Partner organisations come into the UTC regularly to speak to pupils. Pupils regularly see their areas of specialism in the workplace, through visits, as part of curriculum projects and on formal work experience placements".
