Lord Baker visits Doncaster UTC and extends his thanks to all the amazing staff and students who make it one of the best UTCs in the country. Amazing!

Lord Baker enjoyed a very successful and informative visit to Doncaster UTC last week, hearing about its journey since opening in September 2020, and the desire of teachers and students in striving for excellence. A group discussion with students from across the UTC to hear about their experiences was very stimulating, which was followed by a tour. Year 11 students showed Lord Baker their coursework and were keen to tell him "We believe that the UTC empowers young people to find their passions, enabling them to have better contacts with employers."
