DUTC encourages all students in both Year 10 and Year 12 to participate in the Work Experience week during July.
For all students it will provide them with a valuable experience of the workplace and the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge to support their future career goals.
Students will be given support prior to work experience, in the form of Mock Interviews with real employers, that could be your work experience placement.
We will support during and after placements to ensure they have a successful experience in a relevant, safe and friendly environment.
AMRC - The week has been fantastic and this has been the best group we have had in the centre. The tutors have enjoyed working with the young people and would like to see all them studying at AMRC in the future.
They have been polite and have fully taken part in all the sessions. They have been a pleasure to work with.
Savoy Cinema - Georgia and Max had lots of enthusiasm and very welcoming to all our customers
SINE FM – All students worked hard. Some students made a video and the rest an audio to be aired at 4pm Friday!
Boxes and Packaging - Logan was very professional and courteous a pleasure to have.
Multiweb Marketing – Will and Jack B have both done really well, gone through the tasks they have been set and fitted in well. Both really inquisitive which is great and it’s been really good having them here.
