Our Golden Thread

Employers are our "Golden Thread" in helping us bridge the skills gap between education and industry. This will help us to meet Gatsby Benchmark 5.

We have the privilage of working with some award winning companies, both local and nationally. See our Founding Partners.

If you are interesting in being involved please click here for more information - Become a DUTC Partner

Here is an overview of some of our Employer Projects:

Employer Passports

The Employer Passports have been designed to enable students to showcase the skills that they have developed at the UTC to future employers. These passports include what physical machinery and equipment students are competent in using. Passports provide an opportunity for students to showcase their work. Our Employer Partners and University Partners drive our CEIAG programme and are proactively involved in its design and delivery. CEIAG is co-ordinated by a Employer Advisory Committee, which reports directly to our Local Governing Body. The Employer Advisory Committee has representatives from all founding and major partners, as well as having representatives from the Universities of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University.

Vulcan to the Sky Trust Project - Y10
